Vehicle Modifications
Tires
The most asked question we get. We run Yokohama Geolandar G003 275/55R20 mud tires. Love the performance and the high rating on the side wall (especially riding on 20″ wheels). Buy at Amazon.
Lift Rods
Installed 2-inch lift rods for that extra clearance over rocky terrain. Allows for larger tires as well. Find it at Lucky 8*.
Wheel Spacers
The 30mm allow wheel spacers adds 60mm track width. This helps with stability, handling, and allows for larger tires. Find it at Lucky 8*.
Winch
Installed the ZEON 10-S winch with hidden winch tray*, Factor 55 fairlead and Factor 55 Ultrahook winch hook with shackle mount.
A-bar with mounted lights
Proud Rhino A-bar protects the front end of the vehicle, not to mention adds an aggressive look to the Discovery. Find it at Lucky 8*. Also, mounted to the A-bar are two Baja Designs LP6 lights.
Skid Plate
Installed a skid plate to protect against tight approach angles.
Rock Sliders
These rock sliders have saved us damage to our undercarriage and doors many times. Find it at Lucky 8*.
Roof Rack
Our Slimline II cargo roof rack holds many of our off-road accessories. Find it at Front Runner.
Front Light Bar
This 40″ light bar is awesome to light the way on night drives. Swing shield keeps lights safe when traveling on highways. Find it at Front Runner.
Back Flood Light
The 4-inch LED flood light illuminates what is behind the vehicle. Great for visual in the rear or lighting a campsite. Find it at Front Runner.
Front Grill Air Vent Cover
We changed out the front air vent cover for a more aggressive look. This is an unbranded product found on Ebay.
Hood Decal
Custom hood decal gives our Discovery its own unique flair.
Switchboard
Installed this switchboard to control a variety of items added to the vehicle including front and back LED lights, A-bar spotlights, and to disable parking sensors, etc.
GMRS Radio
Our GMRS two-way radio comes in handy when communicating with friends or a whole convoy on the trails. Find it at Midland*.
