About Us

Our Story

Hi, there! We’re Allen, Natalie, and Chester the dog. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, we’ve developed a love for travel, off-roading, and…you guessed it, Land Rover. We hope you enjoy seeing and hearing about our adventures here.

In 2016, we were frustrated with our Dodge Durango that was riddled with problems and set out to find a new SUV. We never considered a Land Rover but decided to visit the dealership just around the corner from us. We ultimately chose the LR4 for its list of capabilities and the boxy design. We learned that with a purchase of a car we can enjoy a free 2-hour session at one of their driving schools. So, the next weekend we set out to Asheville, NC, for our free session at the Biltmore Land Rover Experience driving school. We were amazed at the capability of our LR4 all the while falling in love with the forest surrounding us. Our instructor invited us to their Owner’s Event happening two weeks later (they have them quarterly) and we signed up immediately.

In 2018, we wanted a more capable vehicle than our trusty LR4, and so our Discovery 5 was added to the family. We were determined to modify and build up a unique 4×4 beast and modeled it after the Land Rover Trek cars. To learn more about our Discovery 5, click here. This was our first rover that we’ve seriously wheeled and taken out west. We loved taking this SUV out on our off-roading adventures and it helped us to learn and explore the capability of Land Rovers.

To continue our Land Rover journey, in 2021 we picked up our new Defender (after sadly saying goodbye to our LR4). We were most excited about this vehicle since we were able to build it exactly the way we wanted. We really enjoyed this rig off-road because it’s the first rover that has a rear locking differential and 18-inch wheels. It took us about two years to perfect this beast and it was our flagship vehicle that traveled cross country many,  many times to off-road the most famous trails. Sadly, it was involved in a major deer accident and our insurance company totaled it. We were heartbroken to see it go in early 2024, but it gives us inspiration to focus on our current vehicles below. But make sure to click here to learn about our New Defender.

We had the opportunity late 2023 to purchase a well kept and clean 2011 LR4 HSE HD, and we jumped at the chance. Here we go again about to build out our ultimate LR4. We truly missed this body style and are so happy to have it back in the family. We did sell our Discovery 5 and Natalie sadly waved goodbye to a very special truck. We are continuing to make modifications slowly but surely, so click here to check it out.

But wait, there’s more! In December 2023 we added yet another new Defender to our roster. This time we chose the Defender 130 Outbound. The deletion of the third row seats affords tons more cargo space which is perfect for our overlanding trips. The Defender 110 we built is an off-road beast but we were always packing it up to the brim with our storage boxes, gear, and luggage. So, while we may have to be more cautious wheeling this rig because of the decreased departure angle, the 130 gives us additional storage capacity and the ability to sleep inside the vehicle. Click here to see what modifications we’ve done so far.

Our Land Rover vehicles and the Land Rover experience has truly changed our lives. It has brought us back to basics to just get out in nature and have fun…explore the paths less traveled. We have met the most awesome people and made wonderful friends who share the same passion for off-road adventures and the desire to go After the Land Rover Experience.
